Boz was good-the mix was bad
We were excited to see Rodrigo Y Gabriela, as we are fans of theirs. My husband and I attended the show. The set list was decent, but I wished there were more hits and tracks from Silk Degrees. This is just my personal preference. The issue with the concert was the sound mix. We couldn't determine if it was the band's sound engineer or the venue's sound engineer, but someone did a poor job. The background vocals were excessively loud, drowning out the rest of the mix whenever someone was singing or playing lead. The drums were barely audible, except for the cymbals. I believe Boz may not have been aware of these sound issues, or he would have addressed them. Considering he collaborates with top musicians globally, he wouldn't have accepted such poor sound quality. It's a shame because it detracted from our overall experience.
